Faustine Crespy

Faustine Crespy is a French director and screenwriter who attended INSAS Cinéma in Brussels. Her short films, “Famille Nucléaire” and “Cataracte”, have been selected and awarded at numerous international festivals, including the 2022 Clermont-Ferrand Festival, where “Cataracte” won the SACD Special Mention, before going on to win the International Grand Prize at the Brussel Short Film Festival, and being shortlisted for the 2023 Oscars.

In 2024, Faustine Crespy directed her short film “Sauver les Meubles”, with the support of ARTE, while working on the script for her first feature film, “A cor et à cri”, supported by the CNC writing grant and selected for the Atelier Grand Nord 2024. She also wrote the feature film “Fissures”, which received writing support from the Île-de-France region and was selected for the Moulin d’Andé 2024 French-language residency.
